Welcome to Month by Month:

This blog is my own little version of organization central. We touch on just about every aspect of home, family, and holiday organization here. It is my hope that by blogging my experiences, I can grow as an individual and perhaps inspire others to try new things and think about everyday life a little differently. So please join us in organizing for life every month of the year!

Crockpot MeatLoaf

Did you know you can prepare a yummy meatloaf in the crockpot...? Well you can and it browns up nicely too. There isn't really a specific recipe. I just prepare my meatloaf as I normally do with:
  • Hamburger
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Chopped Onion
  • Bread Crumbs
  • Egg

Shape it into a loaf just like you were going to bake it. Place it in your crockpot. Next make a topping sauce out of Ketchup and Brown Sugar...mix the two together and pour over the meatloaf. Again don't have exact measurements cause I just eye ball it. But don;t be skimpy with the brown sugar! Set on low for about 8 hours. No liquid is needed but I do not use the very very lean hamburger so it ends up cooking up some liquid of its own! Mine is usually nicely brown by the time we eat!
