Dear Readers

Hi everyone...this is just a short post to let you know I am still around. Sorry to have gotten off track but several family situations have zapped me of time and energy. My grandson Evan is now Evan Joseph Schenck as his surname was changed to ours during the course of the divorce. Long story. My daugher also took back her maiden name. Anyway Evan has been taking up quite a bit of my time as you parents of an almost two year old can sympathize with. Hopefully things will settle into a routine. We have always been very active in Evan's life but as he approaches two it just takes a lot more energy. LOL My daughter is finishing her Masters degree and doing an internship so we help out often.

I have been missing my time here at Month by Month but I wanted you all to know why my energy and time have been focused elsewhere. I am just too tired to be creative...LOL I am hoping to settle into a better routine and be able to write updates at least three-four times a week. I still have that list of great recipes to share and some other ideas for preparing your home for fall and then winter! So please don't give up...I will get back to the swing of it all soon!!!!
