Thirty Minute Thursday

It's 30 Minute Thursday!!! And this week I have a little assignment for you....

It's Magazine Sort and Declutter Day....if you're like me you accumulated a lot of magazines and catalogs over the holidays...time to sort and pitch...Create tear files if you need to and file any torn out pages of ideas in the appropriate file.

Work on this task for 30 minutes today! A little at a time!

It's Thirty Minute Thursday

It's time for a 30 minute sweep....and my area for today is my desk top...and boy does it need it...why oh why does it gather so much STUFF....I am grabbbing everything off the desk top and sorting it while I watch a little TV this morning.

I don't have to be at work until noon today so that gives me a tiny window of opportunity.....plus there are some paper I really need to get together. It's not even the fact that it is a mess that bothers me...but the nature of the stuff accumulated there....some of it should have NEVER made it to the desk top...should have been in the trash immediately...other stuff filed...SIGH...filing is a down fall of mine.

In other updates:

• I've been getting the Christmas notebook in shape...updated all addresses and lists.
• Worked on my budget notebook since it is always a challenge.
• Took a bag of stuff to goodwill
• and have been working harder on getting some new blog posts up!!!

Best skip off here for now and get that paperwork sorted!!

It's Thirty Minute Thursday!!

It's time for another 30 minute Thursday and today I'm cheating. I'm going to spend my thirty minutes at work. I have two boxes that need to be unpacked (I moved offices) and either things need to be pitched, donated, or put away somewhere....just opening a drawer and throwing them in doesn't count!

So join me in a thrity minute challenge today....do you have a box tucked away somewhere that needs sorted and dealt with? If so TODAY is the day to tackle it. Look through it, and get it down to a manageable size then find places for the items you are keeping...everything else...out ....out.....out...with it!

Something New to Try: Thirty Minute Thursday!

Here at Month by Month we are going to try something new to motivate and inspire....and hopefully help us get something a bit more actually DONE....I actually got the idea from a scrapping blog...it's called thirty minute Thursday....on the scrapblog...they are to create a layout in thirty minutes on Thursday...and there are usually some other guidelines about using a certain number of products or whatever. BUT

Here at Month by Month...we are going to start Thirty Minute Thursdays...and guess what...we are going to do house stuff....Okay....do I hear the cheering? LOL So here's how it works...every Thursday there will be a goal or project up and you are to work on it thirty minutes sometime on Thursday...come on...we can do anything for thirty minutes....we don't have to finish the project...just work on it for 30 little ole minutes!!! We CAN DO it!! I'll be back later this evening or Tuesday morning to post our Thirty Minute Thursday goal....Okay...now I hear all the cheering....LOL
